Ham Radio Deluxe Logbook is built on SQLite. It is an "embedded database" that is no longer dependent upon Microsoft products.
- You can open, create, or manage additional databases for use within Logbook. You can, if you desire, create a separate database for contest work or a special event. Beware that this can create issues if you are interested in awards tracking.
 
- You can manage your databases by by selecting "File > Open Logbook"...
 

...or click on the "Open" button.

This opens the Logbook Databases window. The existing databases are shown there.

To create new databases or modify the options for existing databases, click on the Logbook Database Manager" button in the lower left.

IMPORTANT:
Note the four options on the left hand side - Default, WSI, UDP5, and UDP9. Right-click on the

- The "default database" is the database presented by the primarily to other Ham Radio Deluxe® applications.
 - Multiple logs can be made part of Worked Status Indicators (WSIs). Select them here.
 - One database can be selected as UDP5. This is the database that programs like WSJT-X will send QSOs into.
 - One database can be selected as UDP9. This is the database that contest programs like N1MM will send QSOs into.
