Error connecting to localhost port 7809

 This error message appears upon start up of HRD Satellite Tracking:


Error connecting to localhost port 7809


Check:

HRD is started

localhost is the correct address

The HRD TCP/IP server is running (see Tools menu in HRD)

Access to HRD is not blocked by a firewall


No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.


Other than the above error message, Satellite Tracking appears to be working, i.e., satellite definitions download, satellite telemetry and predictions appear current, etc. Why does HRD reject my attempts to connection on localhost port 7809?

I have this issue as well, I have even as far and turned off my firewall with no success
